A yearbook is a picture book, right? Right. So you don’t need to write copy, right? WRONG! A yearbook is also a history book, a record book and a reference book. All those require writing. But no one reads the copy, you say? We say, they will, if it’s good writing.
Writing is hard, there is no doubt about it. It requires preparation, practice, persistance, and good punctuation. How can you get students to want to put in the time and effort it takes to perfect their skills? Take a look at this from the Herff Jones’ Idea Center:
